About Us

Clareville Saddlery opened in April 2000 – initially in our tackroom, where you could hardly swing a cat. Then in 2002 we built a new building, with the tackroom becoming the second hand department. In 2005 we expanded again, this time re-doubling the size of the shop to what we feel is probably the best stocked saddlery in the lower North Island, with an impressive range of equestrian supplies. My staff joke that it’s still not big enough!

We feel that customer service is a priority – to go the extra mile and cater for our customers needs. Quality and price also play a big part in keeping our customers happy.
